You see, I'm writing a science fiction series called Tuscumbia, and it will feature a lot of alien races. There is one concept for an alien race I really like, which are a type of sentient non-corporeal lifeform (life forms composed of a coherent gas or energy). They are composed completely of radiation and their homeworld is a planet orbiting a pulsar (a rotating neutron star that constantly emits a beam of radiation). Although their planet would be inhospitable to any "normal" lifeforms, these aliens are able to survive.
My only problem is that I need a name for these aliens as well as possbly some technology. Keep in mind that they are very advanced. Will you please help me with this?
